Oh, one thing which I forgot to blog this morning, which I find really important as I'm really excited about it.
I'VE LOST FOUR WHOLE POUNDS IN WEIGHT!!!!!!!!!!
lol, ok it might sound stupid but I am actually so much closer now to 13 stone than I have ever been in the last three years. So currently I stand at 14stone 4lbs!!!
Yay! for me. I feel so much lighter now!
Oh and I had some amazing food yesterday for dad's birthday. We had some whole roast chicken, chicken wings and my new favourite, RIBS!!!
There were so ready marinated in the shop but I wanted to do my own. The shop ones had too much garam masala powder on them so they looked bright red.
I made mine with 5tablespoons of ginger paste!!! or more if like me you love your ginger, 2 teaspoons of garlic paste, 2 teaspoons of chilli paste, a bit of salt and pepper, half a teaspoon of garam masala powder and a 1/4 of a teaspoon of tumeric powder and a squirt of lemon juice. Then leave overnigth to marinate, place in a foil parcel upon a baking tray, bake for two hours and serve!!!!!!!!!
All I can say is YUM!!! They were delicious, and fattening. (they contain lots and lots of saturated fats)
So anyway, I seem to have picked up my cooking skills which i've left at the door for the past year. The need to cook has arisen due to mothers operation. She can't move heavy pots and pans or stir pots of curry in fear of her scar splitting open and her bladder falling out. So far I have cooked panini's for everyone, baked sausage omelette, baked bean omelette, sweet and sour chicken wings/niblets/ribs(from before) orientale stir fry with eff fried rice (again from before and also for my GCSE food tech project in which i obtained a D
).
Well actually, all this talk of food has given me an idea. I shall write a recipe book of quick, cheap, simple meals like those which I have just describe aimed at students, who will naturally be short on money which is an attribute associated with the title of student!
So yeah, just had biology this morning. We have moved on from the functionings of the kidneys and are now looking at the Nervous System (NS). I find this a very exciting topic. I haven't studied it since 2004 (GCSE first year) and the Advanced Level studies of the nervous system are so much more complicated and so much more interesting!!!
Chemistry this afternoon and then a tutorial in which I must complete my personal statement and also receive a new electronic ID c ard which will be used as an electronic key to enter the sixth form block. Fancy!
Well, I hope each and every one of my gorgeous readers will have a good afternoon and an even better evening!
Au revoir!!!
